It is with great sadness that we must announce that Rugeley Rocks Music & Beer Festival will be postponed until Saturday May 29th 2021.

Our number one priority is the safety of our festival and the great people who attend it. We have considered all possible options and with no clear government guidance on the future of festivals and UK nightlife as a whole, it has left us with no other choice. Based on our recent Corona Virus Survey, it’s clear that A majority have indicated it would be best to postpone until 2021. In addition, it’s important that we continue to improve the festival experience year on year and due to potential social distancing and COVID-19 restrictions, we don’t believe this would be possible with a festival in 2020.

Moving forward, we have already invested huge amounts into the festival including licensing, supplier deposits, band deposits, marketing and much more. The only way we can sustain the festival for the future is by re-scheduling to May 2021 to minimise the financial loss to the festival, our suppliers and our bands. So we are asking for one simple thing, please retain your ticket. It will genuinely make a difference to us and allow us to continue. We appreciate it has been a tough time for many people so if you feel you need to refund your ticket, you have every right to do so but please understand that if you retain your ticket you will be helping keep Rugeley Rocks alive until next year and many more years to come.

There are two options for those that have already purchased tickets.

Option 1 – Retain your ticket to use at Rugeley Rocks next year on Saturday 29th May 2021. If you chose this option, you’ll also receive 1 x free drink voucher per ticket and a free festival ‘goody bag’ on arrival. If you are unable to attend the re-scheduled festival, we’re kindly asking if you could gift or sell the ticket on to friends or family. By retaining your ticket, you’ll be ensuring Rugeley Rocks and our local suppliers can continue in 2021.

Option 2 – Apply for a ticket refund. We understand that some of you may be in a difficult financial situation due to the COVID-19 outbreak and a refund would be appreciated in the circumstances. If you require a refund, please email info@rugeleyrocks.co.uk with your full name and order number.

We’d like to thank you all for your support by retaining your ticket for next year. We hope you all remain safe during these difficult times and look forward to welcoming you back to Rugeley Rocks in 2021 when we’ll be back bigger and better!
